Due to the high popularity of flights from Saransk to Antalya, which are actively used not only by residents of Mordovia, but also the Penza region, the number of flights will be doubled in the summer season of 2025. The organization of new flights is carried out in close cooperation with travel agencies of Mordovia and the entire Volga region.
The head of the Republic of Mordovia Artem Zdunov, who previously held the post of Prime Minister of Dagestan, announced plans to increase the number of flights from Saransk International Airport to Antalya in the summer of 2025. Last year, 15 flights were made, which carried more than 2,500 passengers. Almost all seats were sold out, which led to the decision to increase the number of flights to 28 next year.
“Flights are in demand not only among our residents, but also among residents of neighboring Penza, with which convenient communication was established in 2024 using modern electric trains. We are seeing a steady flow of passengers,” said Artem Zdunov.
The increase in the number of flights to Antalya is carried out in constant interaction with travel companies. In the future, in coordination with local tour operators, it is planned to open new routes, including to Yekaterinburg and some neighboring countries.
