Tour operators believe that holidays in Turkey may become cheaper by summer due to the strengthening of the ruble. Turkey remains the most popular destination for a beach holiday abroad.
According to tour operators, Russian tourists can buy tours to Turkey at a more favorable price due to the strengthening of the ruble.
“Tours to Turkey are denominated in euros, and payment is made in rubles at the internal rate of the tour operator. Thus, with further strengthening of the ruble, holidays in Turkey will become even more affordable,” the tour operator “Intourist” reported.
It is noted that a number of hotels in Antalya have kept prices for the coming summer at the level of last year. In addition, early booking promotions help tourists save money, Fun&Sun recalled.
“Currently, discounts in hotels reach 30%. In a package offer, this is a savings of about 15%, since about half the cost of the tour is transportation,” the report says.
Tourists who are planning a vacation on specific dates or in specific hotels are advised not to delay booking, TASS reports.
